Baby Fashion Show

I went shopping for new PJ's for Claire and found some good sales. So we had a little fashion show last night. It's so fun have a girl and being able to dress her up!

I had a fussy girl most of the weekend. I think her gums are bothering her again. She had a mild fever 99.5 I had to take her temp in the bum, and let me tell you it can back fire on you. She decided to poop while I took her temp! What a mess! She is also sucking on cold wash cloths like her life depended on it! she sucked on one for an hour. The baby tylenol seemed to help but she was still wanting to be cuddled constantly. If I set her down to play she screamed bloody murder! So I have to say my arms are tired today.

My favorite things for baby

If your going to breastfeed these are a MUST have product. A friend of mine brought me some of these when claire was a week old and I could not believe how much these helped with breastfeeding pain. I pretty much wore these 24/7.

Claire loves her miracle blanket! When we started using it she started sleeping through the night at 6 weeks old! Heck yeah! sleep is loved!

This product is a MUST have! Anytime claire is fussy from gas or what ever we get our happi tummi. 20 seconds in the microwave and shes a happy girl. The heat really helps relax her and take away gas pains.

Born free bottles. I breast feed claire for 3 months (until i had to go back to work). I tried a lot of diffrent bottles and Claire took these without a fuss.

Pee pee

Well it happened again. Claire Peed on me. The first time it happened Claire was 2 days old and we were at the dr office for a check up and they wanted to weigh her. So I stripped her down so they could weigh her and when I picked her back up she peed down the front of me. I didn't bring any extra clothes for me so I had to sit through the rest of the appointment covered in pee. Last night I went to give Claire a bath so I undressed her (everything but the diaper) and let her play on her play mat while I filled her tub. Then I went to get her, took her diaper off, and headed for the tub but the tub was empty! crap I forgot to put the plug in the bottom of the tub! So now I have a naked baby and no water. So I put the plug in and started the water again. At this moment I feel something warm trickling down the front of me. I guess running water makes babies have to pee also.

Fathers Day Weekend

Poor Adam had to work nights on his first fathers day. So I tried to spoil him when I could. I made him pancakes with berries and bacon for breakfast. Claire and I got adam a golf gift certificate, his favorite book from when he was a kid to read to claire a hiking pack, a tiny pink fishing pole for claire (adam has been looking forward to taking her fishing since I was pregnant) swim shorts and 2 t-shirts. Claire got up at 6 am every morning this weekend so Im feeling like I really didnt get to recharge this weekend. Katy is going to be moving in this summer so I cleaned out the closet in the guest room for her. All and all a great weekend but Im exhausted. Claire had a busy weekend to. she got to try out her new toy that robin gave us. Claire loves sitting in there but her legs are still to short to reach the bottom so she just kind of dangles from it.

I WANT MY MAMA!!

This sweet little sleepy face wants 1 thing at night and 1 thing only! Her mama. She's like clock work. when the clock strikes 8pm mom better be near by or the hysterical crying begins and will not stop until she is placed in moms arms. She is fine hanging out with anyone all day but come 8pm only mom will do. I have to say I don't mind this. Because then I get to rock her to sleep every night :)

since Claire was born I have not been able to shop very often. well except grocery shop but thats no fun! I have started doing more and more online shopping and look what i just got claire! how cute are these? I got them at www.zuzii.com I can't wait for claire to wear these!

Morning smiles

The best part of my morning is when I hear Claires baby talk over the baby monitor and I get up to go get her from her crib. When I look into her crib she always gives me the biggest smile. My heart melts every time. This little one has her mom and dad wrapped around her finger.

Hog riding

Claire is just growing up so fast! haha. What a beautiful weekend! Washingtons summer has FINALLY arrived. Our friends Melanie and Taren were having a garage sale to raise money for adoption so we headed down to show our support. Taren is selling his motorcycle to raise money for the adoption. How sweet is that! I can't wait for these two to become parents! there going to be awesome!
